The first leg matches for the 2017 Caf Confederation Cup first round wrapped up on Sunday, with the feature result a massive win for Tunisia’s Club Africain.

The match in Rades saw the hosts destroy Sierra Leone’s RSLAF 9-1 thanks to four goals from Ibrahim Chenihi, as well as strikes from Nader Ghandri, Saber Khalifa, Oussama Darragi, Seifeddine Jaziri and Imed Meniaoui.

In Egypt, Al Ahly Shendy claimed a 3-2 win over South Africa’s SuperSport United. The away goals from Mario Booysen and Jeremy Brockie will give Matsatsantsa hope of turning the tie in their favour when the return game is played next weekend.
